My “Hobby” becoming even more Personal, morphing into a Business and letting ‘the Passion shine through’ …

Hello World! Let me introduce Myself and My Journey to Today (October 2021)

I am Stephen Hayden and Up until 2011, My Life was Pretty Normal – Play Hard, Work Hard, Enjoy Life

STEPHEN HAYDEN – “THE WOOLY HAT GUY”

Around October 2011, Life Started to Change. I Complained to My Doctor, that I had a Stomach Problem. 3 Years of Hospitals, Tests, Tablets, and Various Opinions, I Collapsed at Work!

More Tests, and being Poked & Prodded about by Doctors led to being Told, in March 2014, ‘Sorry, but you have Lung-Cancer’ . In July 2014 the Upper Lobe of my Right Lung was Removed and I was having Breathing Difficulties.

This lead to getting “Frozen Shoulder” in My Right Arm, and Requiring 2 Operations and Nerve Blockers for the op’s, as I Couldn’t have General Anaesthetic.

In April 2019, after even more Tests and Tablets, Sorting out the Stomach Issues again. I needed to have an ileostomy Operation, to Stop the Chronic Bloating and Constant Pain.

While on a Family Holiday, my Mother-in-Law, threw a Ball of Wool at Me, along with a “Crochet Hook and said, ‘get Moving that Shoulder’.

I Picked Up the Knitting Needles and Started Knitting again, something I learnt as a 10 year old, Taught by my Nan. Like riding a Bike, you Never forget how!

I Started Knitting Wooly Scarf’s, Basic Wooly Hats, and Watching and Learning from Books and You Tube, got More Confident and Better at Producing Items.

So, Nov 2023.. i started to Feel Very ill !! Out Of Breath, Turning Yellow.. and Going Anaemic, All i Want to do is Sleep as i was Continuously Tired, and Could’nt keep My Eyes Open.. Even Thought i might of had “Long-Covid” but By June 2023, and Still going Down Hill, after Seeing my Doctor, i Took Myself to A&E at Kingston Hospital,, and after More Tests, got Admitted. Again Loads More Tests , MRI Scan’s , CT Scans, and Ultra Scans, being Prodded and Poked,, Got Told i had Not 1 , but 3 “Missing Heart Beats” .. and Was Told After Being Transferred to St Thomas’s Hospital in London, i Needed “Heart Surgery” as My 4th Valve on My Heart had Stopped Woking. (it was In the “Open Position”), and would Not Close. and also had a Bladder Infection that was Growing on it. So, After 6 Weeks continuous Anti-Biotic Drip Feed “Every 4 Hours” to Clear Up Infection, Surgery was Needed !!

I Now Have a “Metal” Mitral Valve in Place at Position No 4, And Literally “Tick” like an “Alarm Clock” 24/7 for Life !!

I’m Now Turning my Passion into a Business, continuing My Recovery whilst putting Smiles onto the Faces of some Amazing People.

With the World as my Oyster, I am letting My Creative Design thoughts Expand!!
